Mother Daughter Day!

“As mothers and daughters, we are connected with one another. My mother is the bones of my spine, keeping me strait and true. She is my blood, making sure it runs rich and strong. She is the beating of my heart. I cannot now imagine a life without her.”

With Mothers day this weekend! I thought it would be awesome to do a post dedicated to Mothers && Daughters! Having a mother is one of the greatest treasures a girl could ask for. We learn almost everything from them && its a relationship that should never be taken for granted!

So as its mothers day soon, here's a perfect gift you could give your Mum for mothers day. && it wont cost you a cent && its something you && your mum could do together!

HERE ARE SOME AWESOME IDEA's FOR A MOTHER DAUGHTER SPA DAY!

All-Natural Chocolate Facial Mask

This decadent facial mask, ideal for normal skin, will leave your face smooth, soft, and silky. The cream and honey add moisture, and the oatmeal sloughs dead skills, perfect for smelling romantic and deliciously edible. Enjoy!
1/3 cup cocoa
3 tablespoons heavy cream

2 teaspoons cottage cheese
1/4 cup honey
3 teaspoons oatmeal powder
Mix all ingredients together and smooth onto face. Relax for 10 minutes; then rinse with warm water.

Body Scrub

Cut a few oranges && rub them on your elbows, knees && heels.
Home Spa Sugar Scrub and Honey Hand Wrap

Soothe itchy, dry, winter-chapped hands with this richly emollient hand wrap.
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup honey
Mix olive oil and sugar to form a paste. Massage over hands to lightly exfoliate; then rinse with warm water. Warm honey in microwave and apply to hands (be careful -- don't let it get too hot!). Wrap hands with plastic wrap, and relax for 30 minutes.

Natural Eye De-Puffing Treatment

If your eyes are red and puffy from a long day spent squinting at the screen, lie down with your feet up and use one of the following treats to soothe and de-puff your precious peepers.
  • Lay thinly sliced cucumber on your eyes.
  • Use damp, used tea bags, or cotton squares dampened with cool tea.
  • On top of the cucumber or tea compresses, lay an unopened bag of frozen peas over your eyes. This is an old trick from plastic surgeons to reduce swelling after eye surgery.
  • After a good night's sleep, your eyes will be good as new!
Pedicure Treatment

1 teaspoon honey
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 sprig of rosemary
2 ounces of olive oil
1/2 cup Epsom salt
1/2 cup cornmeal

In a small bowl mix together ingredients , then pour into large bowl filled with hot water. Soak feet for a few minutes, then reach hand into mixture & exfoliate rough spots.

Invigorating Leg Rub
After rising, mix 1/2 cup of almond oil with 4 drops of peppermint oil & massage feet and legs.

Finish off with awesome nail polish!

There you have it! an awesome treat you could do with your mother, sisters, aunts, grandma && your best friends!!
Have an awesome mothers day all mums && mums to be!! && to all daughters never forget that a mums love is everlasting.
