10th Post Anniversary!!! We are the People that Rule the WORLD

We are who we are by Ke$sha : 
At a very young age I realized that I am not like other people. I had a mind of my own, a spirit that the world wasn't really on par with. Knowing this at such a young age made me reluctant to have friends or form relationships with people because I always felt I needed to conform to the TRIBE! I was bullied, alienated, called ugly words & this made me quite an ugly person, not understanding why or how to deal with it. Something I’m sure most of us faced at some point in our lives.

 It is something I struggled with all through primary & high school. Until I found a group of people who taught me it was okay to be different & voice who I am, no matter of WEIRD, DIFFERENT or OUTRAGEOUS.

Having trouble removing your eye make up after an epic night out. Here's something that works for me. 

Homemade Natural Eye Make up Remover! 
Oil-Based Eye Makeup Remover
Pour 1 tbsp. each canola and olive oil into a small bowl. Mix the oils with your measuring spoon. Dab a cotton pad into the bowl and wipe it around your eyes to remove makeup.

With all this Fashion talk, I'm starting to get hungry! 
 An awesome recipe for a great, healthy snack time treat. 
Great for students && the Office

Italian Vegetable Hoagies

Makes: 4 servings
Active Time: 

Total Time: 
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion, separated into rings
  • 1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 16- to 20-inch-long baguette, preferably whole-grain
  • 2 slices cheese, (about 2 ounces), halved
  • 2 cups shredded  lettuce
Directions
  • Place onion rings in a small bowl and add cold water to cover. Set aside while you prepare the remaining ingredients.
  • Combine tomato, vinegar, oil and oregano in a medium bowl. Cut baguette into 4 equal lengths. Split each piece horizontally and pull out about half of the soft bread from each side. Drain the onions and pat dry.
  • To assemble sandwiches, divide cheese among the bottom pieces of baguette. Spread on the tomato mixture and top with the onion and lettuce Cover with the baguette tops. Serve immediately.
  • ENJOY!
