My Dad, Rev. Relton Groepe & I |
Father
BY EDGAR ALBERT
GUEST
My father knows the proper way
The nation should be run;
He tells us children every day
Just what should now be done.
He knows the way to fix the trusts,
He has a simple plan;
But if the furnace needs repairs,
We have to hire a man.
My father, in a day or two
Could land big thieves in jail;
There’s nothing that he cannot do,
He knows no word like “fail.”
“Our confidence” he would restore,
Of that there is no doubt;
But if there is a chair to mend,
We have to send it out.
To All Fathers, Grandfathers, Uncles... Happy Fathers! Lets make our Fathers && Fathers figures feel extra special this Sunday .
To the men that fix things && make things, let us now make them these awesome gifts!

Medium: Holds a phone charger, headphones, auxiliary cord, and USB cord
Small: Holds a wall charger for your phone
Large: Holds a laptop charger, headphones, Jam box charger, and
more!
Cut
your piece to size. We’ll start with the medium. The nice thing about cutting
fake leather is that you can use an xacto knife and a metal ruler to get super
straight lines. Win!
Now
that you have your piece, cut small pieces that will act as loops for your
cords.
And
look at that! Cords and a charger all in a row.
To
add the snap, use a pencil to mark the two places that your roll meets. Be sure
to do this with all of your cords in place.
Push
snap buttons through and secure both sides.

Home Made Wood log Carry
Construction
· To make a soft-sided firewood carrier
you should choose a piece of sturdy material 1 yard long and 24 inches wide.
For a sturdier carrier, use a double layer of fabric.
You'll also need handles. The simplest handles are one-inch dowels, each
24 inches long. Thread the dowels through channels sewn in either end of the
carrier. Cut out a section in the center of each side so you can grasp the
dowels. You could also use smooth sticks or metal rods.
·
Decoration
Add a row of brass rivets or brass upholstery tacks underneath the handles on both sides of your firewood carrier, as both a decorative accent and to reinforce the channels that hold the handles.

Stencil a decorative design or your initials on one side of the carrier.
Choose a simple stencil and latex fabric paint. This is an especially nice
touch if you decide to give a log carrier as a gift.
Sweets Jar
Fill an empty jar with all your dads favorite sweets && treats.
Decorate it any way you would like to! Your dad could take with him to work or leave it the car! Pretty Cute hey! && you could fill the jar whenever its empty!
The Gift that keeps on giving!
May you have a great day with your father, grandfather, brothers, best friend, whoever played the father figure in your life. The lessons they teach you should never be taken for granted. They are the first men in our lives, they teach us how to ride a bike, braai, make a fire, change a tire && even how to punch (when that comes in handy). So take the time out to make our dads/father figures feel even more awesome! They are after all our own personal "SUPERMAN".
