Today I pay tribute to one brilliant artist. A misunderstood individual of our generation. One Miss Amy Winehouse  (14 September 1983 – 23 July 2011). 

Today we mind her for what worked, which was her music & impeccable talent. A Unique voice. She was truly an original, One Of A Kind.  Like most of us she had her demons. Demons we all are capable of having. Trying not to sound to self-righteous but demons we can defeat. We carry our heartache and pain longer than we really need to. So today I urge you all to shed the load. Get rid of it all. Lets not "Cheat ourselves, like we know we do" #You_know_I_am_no_good. Take our fallen angel, Amy's mistakes and use that to do what she didn't get the chance to do. Turn things around. She inspired me so much with her look and music I have posted easy tutorials that you can do at home to achieve the beautiful Amy 1960's Inspired look.

HOW TO GET THAT AMY WINEHOUSE 1960's POMPADOUR 

What you need: 

• 1. Curler 
• 2. Comb
• 3. 2 Long Grips 
• 4. a Few small grips 
• 5. Brush 
• 6. Straightening Iron
• Make sure your hair is straightened and combed out. Note: you can curl your hair for a dramatic effect. Just make sure 4 inches of your hair is straight in front. && yes you can do this if you have bangs. 

Take the 4 inches of your hair either above your bangs or your hair line. Divide them equally into 2 parts. 

Take the first piece and roll is around the curler. Take 2 small grips and place it above the roller on either sides. Carefully remove the roller. 

You should have a roll like this. Then with your fingers continue to roll it & place it onto your head. Take one of the Large grips firmly placing on the inside of the roll to keep it in place. 

Repeat this with the 2nd piece of hair. 

&&& Presto, you have yourself a Pompadour. 

PS: you can apply some hairspray just to keep it from frizzing or falling apart whilst you're rocking this!

 To finish off your Amy Winehouse look, what would it be without her signature dramatic "Pin UP Girl" makeup. 

What you need: 
Foundation 
Blush 
Light eye shadow 
Gel Liner & Angle Brush 
Mascara
Light Pink/Rose Lip 

Lip Gloss 

Step 1: Apply Foundation 
Step 2: Dust only the Cheek bones with blush 
Step 3: Apply light eye shadow on the apple of your eye lid 
Step 4: Take Angle brush with Gel liner and brush upward from the corner of your eye towards the end of your eye brow. Then fill in your eye from your lash line to the middle of your eye. Finishing it off by connecting it with the line from the edge of your eye to your brow. 
Step: 5: Apply Mascara to your upper lashes only. Clean lower lid draws the emphasis upward. 
Step 6: Complete the look with light pink/rose lip as its all about the eyes. Finish with a little gloss. 

PS: The Monroe is optional! (I actually have the piercing, do not get one without parental consent or consulting a professional). You could always take a dark eye pencil & draw it on the desired spot.
