Spring is HERE!

Hello my Looners! its been a while! Gosh I have missed you all dearly!... I've been away, being a grown up is tough (Full time Job troubles) but to make it up to you, I have put together an awesome SPRING Edition of ABBY GIA LOON.... The Abby GIA LOON closet is stocked && ready for you looners!....

YOU GUYS GOTTA TRY THIS AWESOME SMOOTHIE!!!! #YUM #SPRING 

Ingredients 
1 cup of frozen strawberries 
3/4 cup of milk 
3/4 Pineapple juice
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt 
2 tbsp white sugar 
6 ice cubes 



Directions 
Blend the strawberries, milk, pineapple juice, vanilla yogurt, sugar, ice, and wheat germ in a blender until smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides of the blender a couple of times. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

I am not ready to give up my boots just yet! But you don't have to... these tan boots are amazing for a lighter tone to any often especially during spring.

My favorite trend from spring is the Crocheted Cotton Skirt! I have seen so many variations of this all over during this spring season... I took to the skirt but they come in multiple colours and styles from dresses to tops etc!.
The best thing about light tones you can mix & match them easily. I went for 2 coral shades... Make sure it suits your skin tone... Light tones are not easy to match with skin tone but just make sure they compliment.

Neon Bright

Super PINK! 

sssssssuper pink!!! this is a colour you are able to express that inner Madonna or Nikki that live inside every girl! I personally prefer a lighter hot pink like the dress above and going bold with a darker pink with my accessories. like that hot pink clutch bag!

I think this look is awesome!

AQUA! 

Aqua.... There's so many shades! I couldn't choose. so I went with this Teal, Aqua, Turquoise combination... not sure what to call it but its stunning!!! Its a very casual color, especially for a neon shade but its awesome & I love it!. Try it out if you aren't daring enough to go with super pink.  

PURPLE RAIN! PURPLE RAIN! 

 Last but not Least for our neon Colour week Edition... PURPLE!!! my fave colour... you cannot go wrong with owning anything purple! you can go crazy with this colour. You can wear it with blue, green, yellow, white, black, grey, red... you name it && it will go insanely good! so go WILD with this one!

Make up Tutorial 

This week we have understated our make up looks, keeping to natural tones & minimal of everything. So today lets go bold & out there! A great weekend look, I must say. So try this one out!. 

Its been a great week of COLOR! I learned a lot about what you can do with different shades and how those shades can express who you are & the mood you are in. So I hope you enjoyed this week. I sure did.

Mother Earth!

Mid-Week Madness my Looners!!! Bringing you an awesome 2nd Edition of COLOR WEEK!!! looking at all the earth tones mother nature provides us with.
Earth Tones bring comfort into our lives. Yes we can be bold as neon or subtle with our nude colors but sometimes we just need to tone it down.
Earth tones does that. Makes us feel at home.

What we wear should always be a reflection of our inward feelings. Earth tones allow us to bring depth into our sense of style. With Deep Reds, Burnt Oranges & Dark Browns, bringing us back down to earth so to speak.

Deep Red

I have been obsessed with colour for a long while now! this Colour brings out the depth in anyone && its beautiful in any shade whether it be Deep or just a tad lighter.
Its good to have this colour in your wardrobe. 

Dark Brown 

 Now this colour you need not over do. Not even a little. Having accents of brown in your closet is a good thing. Make sure you mix it up. Brown can be a very dull colour but if done right with good patterns and textures you could really pull it off well. But in moderation.

&& just because you are wearing a brown dress does not mean you have to wear brown shoes!
Mix & match & do it well!

Burnt Orange 

Another earth tone I have fallen in love with recently is burnt orange, which I love to mix up with some mint green && white! it looks amazing together!

Burnt Orange brings a sense of warmth to any look which is good when you always rocking that edgy Black & white like I do.

Less is more && with this colour you can get that perfect balance.

Make up Tutorial 


With the earth tones being so solid you need not over do it with you make up. You need not even wear. But here is a perfect look that compliment the amazing earth tones above.

Colour me Neutral

OLa my Looners!! Happy Monday!! Super happy to bring you another Abby Gia Loon post! I know its been a minute!
But I bring you none other than an awesome Week Of Colour!!!... Yes a whole week!
This week we will be looking at different shades && how they work for your skin tone & what colours are really making a splash in fashion.



So we start our week of with NUDE!!!!!... its simple, subtle && has become really trendy! Usually worn by an older generation this shade of colour has transcended to all ages over the past year! have a look! #ENJOY!

So out of the Abby Gia Loon Closet I will be looking at 3 shades of  Neutral colours.... 

Lady Pink

This colour is the Lady of all colours. To look instantly feminine, this is the colour to go for.
It is subtle and beautiful. Great for a summer day or spring day, or you could match it with some black just to break the colour.
I love this look!
Every girl has got to love some pink && if you don't, or you not ready to go full girly girl this pale pink is a good one to try! even go for a lighter shade. Trust me, any chica can pull this off.




A Shade of Grey

Who said Grey was boring??? I think it is the best way to break away from the usual Neutral black and white we are so used to. Don't get me wrong black and white are my favorite colors but Grey becomes a good departure. It is still edgy and out there which I Love but it tones it down a tad & brings out the girly side! 

Its good for corporate wear as well, like a said it gives us a break from the every day uniformity of black and white. 

Turn to Beige 

Beige! Yes I know, this color isn't really any ones favorite but it has slowly been growing on me this past fall/winter. It a good colour to wear accents of, meaning just tiny items like a dress or shoe or hat matched with white or black.
It is a good colour to wear when going out during the day.
Go for darker shade of beige if you are dark skinned, if you are light or caramel skin light shades really work well.
It is also a good alternative if you are not ready to dare Pink yet.

Make Up Tutorial 

With these colours it is always good to match your make up accordingly. Make sure you use light shades. By light shades I don't mean earth tones. That will be to dark. 

Go for your pale whites, light browns, Tan colours...

Boyish School Girl! 


Yes ladies! the school girl look never gets old!
It is timeless. But of course we could add some boyish flare to this look by just adding some good slacks instead of the good old shirt.




I took this boyish look & went for black on black.
Black satin shirt! The satin gives it that light, fresh feminine element with the heavy high waist slacks.

I finished this look of with replacing the bow tie with a bronze chain & gold hoops. 

Boyish && still girly! 

Soldier On! 

Sweaters! Coats! Blazers && Hats! All originally made for males but has evolved into treasured pieces in every women's closet.

For example the Military Coat && the Fedora. They bring a chic element with softer colors. Even news hats are worn more & more by women.
Adding accessories with floral patterns or a bit of BLING will always bring the female element into any look.

The Blazer!!!!! one of my  favorite items of clothing... Since women have moved from the kitchen to the professional environment, the blazer has become the symbol of poise, elegance & sophistication. Putting on a blazer takes your from frumpy to high power in one spin.

LAZY BOY

 I have to attempt! guy clothes are insanely comfortable!!!
Biggest trend since the summer of 2013 are the BOY FRIEND JEANS, they are slightly baggy, comfy & come in different denim shades! I love the light blue pairs!

It looks amazing with hoodies && over sized cardies & your dads old concert t-shirts! pair them with amazing boots or kicks, great for hanging && chilling! or those long shopping trips!

A great way to also get that comfy look but do away with jeans, get a pair of amazing leggings && an awesome T! & sweat jacket or hoodie! it looks insanely cute! make sure its well fitted & not too bagging or too tight.

You could take that same look && go preppy with some good slacks && a blazer. Make it more comfy by paring it with a plan white T!

I love the accessories you could just pop on to change the look completely.
Boyish Chic is a playful idea! anything works from shorts to Ts to slacks, with boots, heels, kicks, you name it!!!



















It has been amazing exploring the dynamics of men's fashion and how easily they can be adapted to women's fashion today.

#Tip for making the boyish chic work for you, consider the fit! make sure its not to frumpy or bagging! the idea is to use the boyish look accentuate your lady like figures! not to hide them!
So have fun with this! I sure did!
